I was at this eatery last weekend. What a disapointment. The food was served cold and we had to remind our waiter for drinks and bread often. He acted like we were bothering him. By the way, all the items on menu are expensive and everything is sold seperately. You'd think for the prices, you'd get world-class food. It was mediocre. We travel all over the world and this eatery describes itself as "fine dining." I don't think so.

I had an out of town guest for dinner and hoped that I could find a meal that would make notable impression. Mi Piaci did that and more. A good selection of wines coupled with inventive dinner selections, made a hit with my guest from Dallas. She commented that the food was as good as 5 star selections in Dallas! My unending compliments to the chef at Mi Piaci, for this great dining experience. His move to Pepper Tree Square in April should only help his business. We will be back for my wife's birthday next week, for another memorable experience!

Last weekend, I watched in horror as 1 one of the waiters of this establishment berated a group of patrons. He treated them with absolute disrepect and there was so much screaming and shouting without anyone doing much about it. The owner simply watched it happen! My wife and I were shocked. I'd be afraid to go back just to be treated similarly! The food was average, but very costly. According to our waiter, the fish had been flown in the previous day and was of "the utmost quality." My wife and I both agreed it was not. In addition, the wines were obviously bought at CostCo and the arborio rice was extremely mushy; what little we got of it. There appeared to be a shortage of it. The atmosphere is dark and austere, matched with the fight we saw that night, it was a totally unpleasant experience. We will not come again.

I thought the service and atmosphere were exceptional. The food was very good also. True Italian. I plan to become a regular.
