Founded in 2002, the International Hispanic Cultural Institute uses creative expression and the arts to develop Hispanic cultural awareness and create more opportunities for Hispanic youth. Its primary duties involve programming the annual International Latino Arts Festival, and other events, performances, contests, and workshops. Its headquarters lie in the heart of the city, a few blocks west of Magoffin Home State Historical Park.
